As you may be aware, the National Minimum Wage increased on 1st October 2011.  Here is a breakdown of the new rates:

• £6.08 per hour for workers aged 21 and over
• £4.98 per hour for workers aged 18-20
• £3.68 per hour for workers aged 16-17
• The Apprentice minimum wage is now £2.60 per hour
